Well I finally finished my image that i had been working on for the past few weeks, i've only had a little bit of time to put into it. It was just a basic experament anyway because i don't have much experiance with photoshop so I had to start somewhere, still its a start and theres no where to go but up! Most of the tonal effects were done with dodge and burn.

My First Major Model
While I was digging through my old hard drive from my, as of yesterday, broken laptop I found the Max files from my major project last year. The model I build was a 3D version of one of the scorpions from the LEGO Bionicle range of toys. Back then my modeling knowledge was basic and i spent weeks working on recreating every part of the toy in 3D, while recognised as a very detailed model, hence the 1st i received from the project it was still a little messy in places, from the screen shot here you can see the bulk of the detail and the few vertices's that are out of place here and there.

Music working finally!!
After a good bit of playing around I've finally found good media player...well with alot of modifying to the script its good now, anyway music is up and running, set to auto play as standard but you can stop it anytime. Only 2 tracks right now but in time i'll add a few more when i find some better stuff. The music player is at the bottom of the page so you can change the music at any time, or turn it off.

From the Archives
While I was wondering through my university files today I found some old renders of some experiments I did with volumetric light, in my first few weeks of using 3D MAX I wanted to try out a basic water scene, ths was one of my renders I created, theres a selection of them in the renders slideshow along with screen shots of my other earlier projects for all to see

Testing New Equipment
For my birthday this year I was given a graphics tablet, so naturally the first thing I did was ripped it open and played around a bit with it in Photoshop. What you see here i doubt is anything special but just an hour or twos worth of fun and experimenting. Basically i sketched a picture of myself from a photo and tried out different effects to make this:

In the beginning...
Well this empty space you see in front of you is what will soon become my online digital portfolio, hopefully soonish. I'll be uploading images of current work as well as showing slide shows of other select pieces of work, not just of things done on my Animation course but from all my work, whatever form it shall take.
For now though... hope!
